With over 8 million gallons of fresh and marine water, and more than 100,000 animals representing 500 species from around the globe, the Georgia Aquarium is the largest aquarium in the Western Hemisphere. There are several performances, and opportunities to interact with the sea life. You can even have an aquarium sleepover with your favorite animals!

2. Zoo Atlanta

The Atlanta Zoo is perfect for spring when it’s not too warm outside. Here, you can see a wide variety of plants, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and mammals. The panda exhibit is our personal favorite, as well as the milky eagle owl.

3. World of Coke

Another Atlanta favorite is the World of Coke. Atlanta is the home of Coca Cola. Here we don’t order a soda, we order a coke. The World of Coke offers a large museum containing the history of Atlanta’s favorite beverage. You can watch the massive production line, and even get your own freshly bottled soda. Everyone’s favorite part, however, has to be Taste It! In this section, you can sample over 100 different beverages from all over the world.

4. High Museum of Art

Little Five Points is one of our favorite places to shop. Here, you’ll find several vintage shops and thrift stores. For the true Little Five experience, you have to go in Junkman’s Daughter. You can’t miss it. It’s the store with the giant space ship sticking out of the front. This store is a smorgasbord of fun. They have costumes year round, cool t-shirts, a bunch of knick knacks, unique collectables, and that barely scratches the surface.

Atlanta provides a vast amount of activities, attractions and experiences to make your summer city experience unforgettable.
