I want her job! Is a series featuring cool women with awesome and interesting jobs. We take a look at their careers as well as some of their favorite products and fashion tips. This week, we are thrilled to have the fabulous Rosie Slosek, Whole Life Transformation Guide at http://rosieslosek.com

Describe for us your career path for us and how you ended up in your current role?
You know that feeling when you love what you do and you also have that little voice saying it’s not all you’re here to do? You have so much more in your life’s purpose and your path is waiting for you to start walking? I was like that until last year. I love my clients in my tax return coaching business and I love the transformation we co-create. I knew though that it was only part of what I was meant to offer the world.
Last year, I started walking on my soul path and opened Whole Life Transformation supporting nature-loving women in their 30s to find their direction and feel good in their body and their bank account. I’ve been passionate about direction, health, food and money all my life and worked in health, business coaching, baking and accounting jobs as well as my tax return coaching business. It was time to celebrate my talent for seeing the big picture and the little details across many key areas: it’s not random, it’s my zone of genius. Now I support my clients pick up their own magic wand and transform their own lives.

What does a typical work day look like?
I start my day at 7am. I walk through an ancient wood to enjoy a sage tea and start my day reading an inspirational book at a local garden cafe. When I’m back home, I have a quick breakfast and do my 3 most important action points for the day. I spend 20 minutes on email then have a break with a cup of tea and a good book. Most days, I do my visioning and long term strategy for an hour before lunch. Lunch is usually a home made soup in the winter and a smoothie in the summer with a piece of really good cheese and a cookie or piece of fruit. Afternoons are for my clients and I finish my afternoon at 4 or 5pm checking email and with a short walk. A few times a week I’ll finish my day with a swim and in the growing season I spend half an hour with my vegetables and garden.

What excites you the most about your job?
When I see my client start to really grow in their life and begin to live their dreams, when before they felt stuck and didn’t what to do and felt wrong in their body and their bank account. I love that, it fires me up. It’s such a privilege to be able to support that level of transformation. That’s what it ‘s about – helping others to fulfil their purpose so they can live the life of their dreams and change the world.

Do you have a go-to outfit or accessory?
I adore my Eileen Fisher cardigan with fitted jumper and leggings in the winter. It’s stylish and comfortable and I love the natural colors and tones. In summer, I love a playful dress with flats, that I can shimmy in and be practical when I need to nip out to water my tomatoes.

Any career tips you’d like to share?
Baby steps. My tagline for my business is ‘one small step in the right direction can be the biggest step of your life’ because baby steps are what creates sustainable life-transforming change – that’s why we can resist it so much!

In my free time…
I live in a really green part of London, UK, and I love walking in ancient woods and heath. I grow vegetables and fruit on my allotment (a community garden) and come tomato season, I’ll be down there every day watering them. I cook a lot and (a bit geeky) I do adore a good financial decluttering session.

Favorite blogger…
I really couldn’t decide between Wholeheartedlyhealthy.com, Clarejosa.com and Mooseyscountrygarden.com
